Sticks & Stones Portfolio Site

Sticks & Stones is a full-service marketing & creative agency with projects across industries in a wide-range of media formats.

Sticks & Stones’ website was several years old and had been hard-coded so it had to be updated manually by a developer. Without a developer on the team at the time, they weren’t able to easily add fresh projects, update team member profiles or any of the messaging. This was preventing them from putting their best foot forward with potential clients landing on the website.

I collaborated with Art Director, Matthias Smale, to design and build the new portfolio website. To showcase the best of the agency, we chose to keep content minimal and focus on projects, services, the team. In order to grab attention right away and showcase the calibre of the agency’s work, we created an opening reel with contributions from the whole creative team incorporating the ampersand logo. I used a low-code Wordpress template called Semplice to build the site. The template allowed us enough flexibility to design a custom website, while not having to hire an external web developer to build our website from scratch. The artwork featured across the site was produced by the talented team of creatives at Sticks & Stones. The website is live at andstones.ca.
